Renowned Bollywood photographer Avinash Gowariker, known for working with India’s biggest film stars, recently opened up about his experience with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his sons, particularly Aryan Khan.
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Avinash recalled memorable moments from a family photoshoot done for Gauri Khan’s coffee table book. He highlighted the special bond between Shah Rukh and Aryan, calling their relationship warm and respectful.
Avinash, who has photographed many iconic Bollywood personalities, shared how naturally the Khan family connected in front of the camera, revealing a side of Shah Rukh that fans rarely see — a devoted father full of affection and pride.

I really like Aryan — his energy, confidence, and style are unmatched. I was eagerly waiting to see him act, but he chose to become a director instead.”
Avinash also shed light on Aryan Khan’s directorial journey, saying, “The series he has created is incredibly brilliant. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of some parts, and honestly, he is extremely talented. The bond between Shah Rukh and Aryan is truly heartwarming.”
He further added that usually children are closer to their mothers, “but in this case, the chemistry between father and son feels more like a friendship.” He said, “The bond between Shah Rukh and AbRam is quite similar. During the photoshoot, you could clearly see the deep emotional connection they share.”
He added that “the photoshoot was done for Gauri Khan’s coffee table book and took place on the ground floor of their home, ‘Mannat’.”
Avinash also praised Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, saying, “Suhana is lovely as well. Just look at the way she’s sitting in the photo — like a true supermodel. I really loved that shot.”
