Rising Pakistani actress Hina Tariq has announced that if she ever decides to work in films, she will step away from television dramas. Speaking in a recent interview, Hina said she doesn’t believe in working on both mediums simultaneously.
“I can’t do justice to both at the same time. If I choose films, I’ll leave dramas,” she stated firmly.
Although she’s not actively pursuing film roles, Hina mentioned that if offered a meaningful and high-quality film project, she would consider it—and make it her sole focus.
Currently earning praise for her role as Assistant Commissioner Iman Saleem in the popular drama serial Naqaab, Hina has won the hearts of audiences and critics alike. Directed by Syed Jari Khushnood Naqvi and written by Shafia Khan, the drama aired its final episode last Sunday.
Hina also emphasized that she looks for roles that portray empowered, courageous women and inspire viewers. “I want to take on characters that leave a positive impact. Fame is not my goal—impact is,” she said.
