Riteish openly shared how his children—10-year-old Riaan and 8-year-old Rahyl—often greet photographers with folded hands and smiles. “There’s no fixed way to deal with media exposure for kids,” Riteish said. “Every parent must decide what’s best for their child.”

According to Riteish, avoiding cameras is nearly impossible in today’s world. His children participate in sports and attend public events, where photographers are often present. “We explain to them that being photographed doesn’t make them special. They’re just kids like anyone else,” he noted.

Riteish believes that when someone takes a picture of you, it’s not just a click—it’s an acknowledgment. “I tell my kids, when someone asks for a photo, just smile and say thank you. The person behind the camera is also working hard,” he said. “Don’t overthink it. Just behave normally.”
