Bollywood’s beloved actress Alia Bhatt has shed light on a lesser-seen side of life, reflecting on the darker aspects of human nature in a recent interview.
During a candid and philosophical conversation, Alia was asked about the “dark side” of her personality. With her signature charm and innocence, she replied, “Every human being has a dark side — if there is no darkness, how will we ever appreciate the light?”
Known for her powerful performances and captivating screen presence, Alia also has a way with words. She revealed that this particular quote wasn’t from her filmmaker father Mahesh Bhatt, as the host had assumed, but something she discovered herself on Google. “I found it online and shared it with my family group on WhatsApp,” she laughed.
Alia further mentioned that her family WhatsApp group, affectionately called ‘The Bhatt Camp’, is where family members often share inspirational quotes and reflections.
Alia’s Global Rise Continues
On the international front, Alia recently made headlines with her debut at the Cannes Film Festival, impressing both fans and fashion critics. She gave a glimpse of her Cannes experience on Instagram on May 28, hinting that she might return to the red carpet in 2025.
Upcoming Projects
Alia is currently filming for the high-octane action film “Alpha”, alongside Sharvari and Bobby Deol. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film is slated for release on December 25, 2025.
She is also part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated project “Love & War”, where she stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The film is scheduled for release in March 2026.
