Renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan encountered a disturbing incident during the promotion of her upcoming film Love Guru in London.
Mahira, accompanied by fellow actor Humayun Saeed, arrived at the Indo-Pak Supermarket in Ilford Town, London, as part of the promotional event. However, due to a complete failure in crowd management by the event security, the situation quickly turned chaotic.
According to eyewitnesses, as Mahira tried to make her way into the store, she was surrounded by a disorderly crowd. In the resulting chaos, at least three individuals reportedly harassed her physically. The videos circulating on social media show Mahira visibly distressed and struggling to enter the store amidst a sea of people.
Despite the presence of security personnel, the crowd could not be controlled, raising concerns about the safety arrangements at such public events involving celebrities.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage online, with fans expressing their disappointment over the lack of protection for a leading actress representing Pakistan on an international platform.
