Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s brother, Faisal Khan, has announced that he is cutting all ties with his family and will not claim any share in the family property.
Faisal revealed that he faced years of mistreatment at the hands of his relatives. He accused his family of keeping him under house arrest, forcing him to take medication, and tarnishing his reputation with false allegations.
Allegations of Forced Medication
According to Faisal, between 2005 and 2007, he was forcibly given medicines and confined at home. In October 2007, when his signing authority was allegedly taken away, he decided to leave the house.
He added that his mother and sister later filed a case in court, claiming he was suffering from schizophrenia and posed a danger to society. However, in 2008, the court ruled in his favor, dismissing the family’s claims.
Decision to Live Independently
Faisal Khan stated that he will neither live in Aamir Khan’s house nor accept any monthly financial support from him. He also clarified that he will not demand a share in the property of his late parents, Tahir Hussain and Zeenat Tahir Hussain.
He further alleged that his family recently attempted to defame him in the media. To counter this, Faisal plans to file a legal petition next month.
Aamir Khan’s Family Responds
In response, Aamir Khan and his family issued a statement denying Faisal’s claims. They described the accusations as “misleading and hurtful.”
The family insisted that every decision regarding Faisal was made only after consulting doctors and with genuine care and concern. They also appealed to the media not to sensationalize the matter and t
o report it with sensitivity.
