Indian YouTuber Armaan Malik, aged 37 and known for his appearance in Bigg Boss OTT 3, has been summoned by Patiala Court along with his two wives, Payal Malik and Kritika Malik. The court issued the summons in two separate cases.
Allegations of Multiple Marriages
According to media reports, a petition filed by Devendra Rajput claims that Armaan Malik has not just two but four wives, violating the Hindu Marriage Act, which permits only one marriage at a time. The court has ordered all three to appear on September 2.
Religious Sentiment Controversy
In another complaint, Armaan and Payal Malik were accused of hurting religious sentiments. The petition alleged that Payal posed as a Hindu goddess in an Instagram post, which sparked public outrage.
Public Apology and Religious Rituals
Following the backlash, Armaan and Payal Malik issued a public apology. Payal reportedly performed temple cleaning and other religious rituals. The couple also visited Haridwar, where they sought forgiveness at the Niranjani Akhada. During the visit, Payal fell ill and was admitted to t
