Fear Before the First Meeting
The 57-year-old actress shared in a recent interview that she was initially terrified when she learned she would be shooting with a notorious criminal. The project was a Telugu film inspired by the personal lives of convicted criminals. The government had granted permission to bring such offenders from prison for filming purposes.
The Role and the Message
Bhagyashree played a journalist who meets these criminals to convey a powerful message — no one is born a criminal; circumstances often shape their paths. Despite her nervousness, she was determined to portray the role authentically.

One day on set, she was told, “The gangster brother is coming.” When he arrived, Bhagyashree was stunned. Dressed in saffron attire with multiple gold chains around his neck and surrounded by 10–12 bodyguards, he cut an intimidating figure.
