Why Actor Samar Jafri Feels Deeply Connected to the Film ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’

Rising Pakistani actor Samar Jafri recently opened up in an interview about his deep connection with Bollywood’s 2007 film Ta Ra Rum Pum. The actor, who recently played Wali in the hit drama Parwaaz, also performed the show’s original soundtrack “Main Rahoon“, earning widespread praise.

A Childhood Fascination with Film and Performance

Samar shared that his love for acting began in childhood, fueled by memorable movie scenes. Among his favorites were the dramatic racing scenes from Ta Ra Rum Pum, especially the ones where Saif Ali Khan’s car flips during a race.

> “I used to act out those scenes using my remote-controlled car,” he recalled with a smile.

This childhood passion soon turned into a serious career path.

Multi-Talented: An Actor and a Singer

Beyond acting, Samar Jafri is also an emerging singer-songwriter. In Parwaaz, not only did he act, but he also lent his voice to the OST — a rare combination in the drama industry.

He shared that music is a core part of his life, much like his character Wali. Samar has already written several original songs and plans to release them at the right time.

Family Support and Focus on Education

While his artistic pursuits are thriving, Samar emphasized that his parents fully support his dreams. However, they’ve always encouraged him to prioritize education.

> “They’ve always told me to value education first — and I agree. I plan to complete my degree soon,” he affirmed.

What Kind of Life Partner Does He Want?

When asked about personal life and relationships, Samar smiled and hinted at the kind of life partner he envisions — someone who understands the artistic and emotional side of his life, just as Wali finds connection through music.

Samar Jafri is more than just a rising face on screen — he’s a passionate storyteller, a soulful musician, and a grounded individual with strong family values. With his creative energy and love for both acting and singing, he’s surely a talent to watch in the coming years
