Sonakshi Sinha Says ‘Hera Pheri Without Paresh Rawal Is Unimaginable’

Actress Sonakshi Sinha has voiced her strong opinion on Paresh Rawal’s absence from Hera Pheri 3, calling him the “heart and soul” of the beloved comedy franchise. Her comments come amid growing fan disappointment and a legal tussle between the actor and the film’s producers.

Fans and Actors Disappointed by Exit of ‘Babu Bhaiya’

Hera Pheri 3 was expected to reunite the iconic trio: Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. However, Rawal’s exit has sparked backlash from fans and industry colleagues alike. The hashtag #BringBackBabuBhaiya continues to trend across social media platforms.

Sonakshi added,

> “You cannot imagine Hera Pheri without Paresh ji. His character Babu Bhaiya is etched in our hearts. He brought the role to life with laughter and brilliance.”

Why Did Paresh Rawal Leave Hera Pheri 3?Reports suggest Paresh Rawal had signed a term sheet on March 27 without legal consultation. The agreement offered only 1% of his fee upfront, with the remaining 99% payable post-release. Citing unclear terms, Rawal later withdrew from the film.

In response, Akshay Kumar’s production house “Cape of Good Films” issued a legal notice, accusing him of breaching the contract. Rawal then refunded his advance of ₹11 lakhs with 15% interest, claiming his withdrawal was a lawful and prudent decision.

Will Hera Pheri 3 Move On Without Him?

Despite massive investments by the production house, including clearing debts to acquire full rights, Paresh Rawal’s absence has cast a shadow over the film’s future. Fans are urging producers to reconsider the casting decision or risk losing the franchise’s charm.

Sonakshi, who once shared screen space with Rawal, praised his acting versatility:

> “Whether it’s comedy or serious roles, he shines in every genre. Sharing the screen with him was an honor.” What’s Next for the Franchise?

As legal proceedings conclude and the producers weigh their next steps, it remains unclear whether Hera Pheri 3 will continue without Paresh Rawal or bring him back under revised terms.

For now, the franchise stands at a crossroads, balancing fan expectations, crea

tive integrity, and contractual obligations.
