Recalling the night of the incident, Sunita said the kidnapping took place on March 21. Hassan had just wrapped up a shoot and called her to say he was on his way home. However, after an hour with no sign of him, she received a second call—from his own number.
To her shock, it was Hassan himself, informing her he had been kidnapped and that the abductors were demanding a huge ransom. His eyes were blindfolded, and he had no idea where he was being kept.
