When asked about the possibility of cameos, Kajol laughed and said:

> “No, no. I wish you had suggested that before our shoot. Maybe we could have done it.”

The trailer of Maa begins with Kajol driving her daughter through a dense forest. The girl is in pain from menstrual cramps, and the mother assures her everything will be okay. However, their journey takes a terrifying turn when a mysterious force slams into their car window.

They find themselves in a strange and dark village named Chandanpur, where an ancient evil is waiting to be unleashed.

The Devil’s Tree and a Mother’s Fight
