No Delays! ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’ Moving Ahead as Planned

Fans of Bollywood megastars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Recent rumors about their highly anticipated film Tiger vs Pathaan being delayed or shelved have been dismissed by official sources.

Social Media Buzz Over Delay Claims

The rumors began when entertainment site Peeping Moon reported that Yash Raj Films (YRF) had paused production on the film. It even suggested that the movie was being restructured with new directors and a fresh creative direction.

However, Peeping Moon later removed the article, adding fuel to the speculation. This sudden change raised concerns among fans, leading to widespread chatter online.

NDTV and Industry Sources Respond

Putting an end to the uncertainty, NDTV published a report confirming that Tiger vs Pathaan is not delayed or canceled. Instead, production is moving forward as scheduled.

According to close sources within the industry, the film remains a key part of YRF’s Spy Universe and is being developed with high priority. The producer, Aditya Chopra, is still attached to the project and is actively working on its execution.

YRF Spy Universe: A Big-Picture Strategy

YRF’s Spy Universe began with Ek Tha Tiger (2012), starring Salman Khan as Indian spy Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger. He reprised the role in Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and Tiger 3 (2023).

Shah Rukh Khan joined the universe in 2023 with Pathaan, which featured a special cameo by Salman Khan as Tiger. Other key entries in the universe include War (2019), and upcoming films War 2 and Alpha, starring Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, and Sharvari Wagh.

Fan Hype Remains Strong

Despite the delay rumors, excitement for Tiger vs Pathaan is stronger than ever. The film will bring together two of Bollywood’s biggest stars in a full-fledged action-packed collaboration. Previous films like Karan Arjun (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam (2002) have already proven their magical chemistry.

While Siddharth Anand was earlier expected to direct, recent buzz hinted at possible directorial changes, although nothing has been confirmed officially.

Current Projects of the Stars

Salman Khan was last seen in Sikandar (Eid 2025), directed by A.R. Murugadoss, alongside Pooja Hegde, though the film didn’t perform well at the box office.

Shah Rukh Khan, who impressed audiences with Dunki, will n

ext appear in King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
