TikToker Sana Yousuf Shot Dead in Islamabad

Sana Yousuf, a young TikToker originally from Chitral, was shot and killed in Pakistan’s federal capital, Islamabad.

According to police sources, the incident occurred on Monday in Sector G-13 within the jurisdiction of Sumbal Police Station. An unidentified assailant reportedly entered her home and opened fire, resulting in her death.

A spokesperson for Islamabad Police confirmed the incident, stating that it took place earlier this evening in Sector G-13.

Initial information suggests that Sana Yousuf was shot inside her home. Police arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the report and transferred the body to PIMS Hospital for post-mortem examination.

The police spokesperson added that an investigation has been launched and that the media will be kept informed of any developments.

A police officer revealed that the suspect who shot Sana Yousuf was actually a guest at her house and fled the scene immediately after committing the crime.

Station House Officer (SHO) Malik Asif from Sumbal Police Station stated that the killer appears to be someone who knew Sana personally, as he entered her home pretending to be a guest.

He further confirmed that the police are exploring multiple angles in the murder investigation and an official FIR will be filed soon.

According to Malik Asif, the deceased TikToker lived with her family in Sector G-13. Just a few hours before her death, Sana Yousuf had uploaded a video on Instagram from Islamabad.
